Human Neutrophil Elastase is derived from purulent human sputum that is fractionated with NaCl and chromatographically purified. Purity is greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The elastase is free of Cathepsin G, Myeloperoxidase and Lysozyme. Supplied as a lyophilized, salt-free, soluble powder in 0.1mg aliquots.
