OTU domain-containing protein 3 (OTUD3) is a specialized cysteine protease and a member of the ovarian tumor (OTU) protein super-family with a predicted molecular weight of 45 kDa. The human protein shares 83% amino acid sequence identity with its mouse ortholog. OTUD3 is exceedingly well characterized in terms of the structure-function relationship that results in the enzymes preferred polyubiquitin substrates.
