Bovine serum albumin (BSA) conjugated to BBI 40nm gold nanoparticles.
Ideally used as a negative control conjugate in lateral flow assay development, to be sure that the functionality of the assay comes from the labelled gold antibody, a suitable control is to run a dummy conjugate – one which contains the same materials as the specific gold conjugate minus the antibody. Hence a BSA coated 40nm gold conjugate.
The BSA used in the manufacture of BA.BSA40 is of American origin. All animals receive pre and post mortem examination and are declared disease free.

ended in a low molarity buffer 2mM Borax pH7.2 containing 0.095% Sodium Azide as a preservative.
All gold conjugate products are available at OD10 in volumes of 5, 50, 100 or 500mls unless stated otherwise. Customised concentrations of conjugates with an OD other than OD10, are available by request.
