Description
Oligofectamine? Transfection Reagent is a proprietary formulation for transfecting oligonucleotides and short interfering RNA (siRNA) into eukaryotic cells. Oligofectamine? Transfection Reagent forms stable complexes with oligos, permitting efficient transfection into eukaryotic cells in a highly specific, yet nontoxic fashion. Oligofectamine? Reagent is suitable for nuclear and cytoplasmic targets and transfects a wide variety of cell lines including CHO, HEK-293, NIH 3T3, and HeLa.
Using Oligofectamine? Transfection Reagent
Oligofectamine? Reagent is easy to use because it provides a simple and fast protocol. Just dilute Oligofectamine? Reagent, mix with oligonucleotide, and add to your cells. Oligofectamine? Reagent requires nanomolar quantities of antisense oligonucleotide, reducing the amount of valuable oligonucleotide needed by up to a thousand-fold. This makes it ideal for high-throughput applications. In addition, Oligofectamine? Reagent has also been shown to work for siRNA transfections.
