The mouse IL-10 ELISpot kit is ideal for users who want the flexibility of setting up their own assay. The kit enables enumeration of cells secreting mouse IL-10, and contains a matched pair of monoclonal capture and detection antibodies and Streptavidin-HRP.

Analyte Information

IL-10
Interleukin-10 (IL-10, IL10) is a pleiotropic cytokine that is produced by activated T cells and monocytes. It can modulate the functions of immune responses in both a stimulatory and an inhibitory way. IL-10 is thereby involved in the regulation of immune reactions and inflammatory responses.

I cannot compare the new mouse IL-10 system to the old system, as I never used it, but I was able to obtain very nice results with the new system. The
spots show up clearly and there is no variation in the background color
of the membranes (this is a problem I have had with other companies' kits, and am told it has to do with uneven pre-coating). I have used other
Mabtech
products in the past (human and mouse IFN-gamma, IL-2, and TNF-alpha) and will continue to use them.
