BfaI is an isoschizomer of Mae I and Rma I.BfaI has shown minimal cleavage of unpurified PCR products. Therefore, PCR products should be purified (we recommend the Monarch PCR & DNA Cleanup Kit) prior to BfaI digestion.The enzyme retains full activity after at least 10 free-thaw cycles; the enzyme can be aliquoted and stored at –80C.Star activity may result from extended digestion.
