Description


E. coli Uracil-DNA Glycosylase (UDG), also known as Uracil N-Glycosylase (UNG), catalyses the release of uracil from uracil-containing DNA. UDG efficiently hydrolyzes uracil from single-stranded or double-stranded DNA, but not from short oligonucleotides (<6 bases), or RNA substrates.

: 5,000 units/ml in 10 mM Tris-HCl, 50 mM KCl, 1 mM DTT, 0.1 mM EDTA, 50% Glycerol, pH 7.4 @ 25°C

10X Reaction Buffer:
200mM Tris-HCI, 10 mM DTT, 10 mM EDTA, pH 8.0 @ 25°C
